New Modern environments
Little Oaks Islingword Road Nursery has been open since April 2006. It is a newly purpose built nursery on the site of the old Immanuel Church. Recently purchased, our Stanford and Goldstone nurseries have recently been refurbished to provide the best possible environment for your child. Garden area
In all of our nurseries, garden areas are accessible to the children at all times throughout the day in all weathers. The
outside areas are set up to meet all the childrens developmental needs, and enable the children to thrive in growing plants, be imaginative in our play dens and experiencing different sensory activities which include sand and water play.
Curriculum and Activities At Little Oaks Nurseries we follow the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum from Birth to Five Year. All our activities enable the children to develop at their own individual pace. This is achieved through the use of a key person system, regular observation on each child, daily interaction with parents and monthly staff meetings. We ensure all equipment and activities are age and stage appropriate to meet each individual child's needs. Our free flow environment enables each child to access all activities and equipment independently with adult support.
